The issue of transportation of perishable cargoes has always been a hot topic in the field of international cargo transportation. The transportation loss of perishable cargoes is usually the result of the interaction of multiple elements, and the mingled multiple elements bring challenges to determine the cause of cargo loss, which is an important basis for determining the insurance liability. Therefore, in the process of perishable cargo transportation loss cases, it is of paramount importance to systematically identify the key elements of cargo loss, correctly identify the causes of cargo loss, and thus accurately divide the liability.
At 2:00 pm on February 13, the sharing seminar of "Identification of Causes of Losses in Transportation of Perishable Goods and Related Case Analysis", which was presented by Luo Fang from Research and Development Center, was held as scheduled, and Frad partners gathered in the conference room to learn professional knowledge.

Luo firstly introduced the definition, classification and common transportation methods of perishable goods by taking our common "old friends", ginger and garlic, as examples. Then, he introduced the key elements of perishable cargo loss and the correspondence between the causes of cargo loss and each element in transportation practice. Finally, he introduced and analyzed in detail several specific cases encountered in the process of handling cases, and analyzed the causes of cargo loss in depth.
After the sharing, the participants actively spoke and had an in-depth discussion with each other on some practical problems in the process of case handling. The sharing session not only improved the participants' ability to identify the causes of perishable cargo transportation loss, but also provided useful reference for future work.
