Along with the growth of global installed wind power capacity, based on the basic understanding of the wind power industry and related insurance terms, this project focuses on risk mitigation measures for wind turbine systems in the transport chain and the key points in processing insurance claims.

Transport risks and insurance claim highlights of steel coils

Based on its unique characteristics, this project analyzes the risks during sea and land transport of steel coil. Combining the experience from well-known P&I Clubs, classification societies, and the Railway Bureau, it also discusses the stacking and packaging requirements of steel coils in different transport links, providing feasible methods of steel coils recovery and claim processing.

Comprehensive research on global cargo theft

In response to the worsening problems of cargo theft worldwide, Frad R&D Center analyzes the influencing factors and characteristics of cargo theft. The research provides practical solutions for transport participants and insurers on preventing and handling cargo theft. In addition, the study also serves as a reference to the legal issues that often arise from cargo theft.

Lithium-ion battery freight risk analysis

Lithium-ion batteries are typically high-demand and hazardous cargoes. Based on the intrinsic physical and chemical properties of lithium-ion batteries, Frad R&D Center has analyzed and summarized various common transport threats of lithium-ion batteries and accordingly provided reliable risk mitigation solutions in practice.
