Background

In April 2024, a team of Frad Risk Mitigation engineers was dispatched to the Philippines to conduct an on-site risk survey, commissioned by the insurer of a global leading enterprise in information and communication technology (ICT). The survey focused on a communication base station construction project that the enterprise was undertaking for the local telecom operator. This initiative represents a vital infrastructure advancement for local communities while also serving as a prominent example of Chinese high-tech enterprises expanding their presence internationally.

Frad’s risk mitigation engineers traveled to multiple sites across the Philippines over a five-day period to conduct thorough field research on human hazards, natural disasters, fire risks, and other potential threats associated with the construction project. The team promptly relayed their findings to the project manager, presenting customized disaster and loss prevention strategies tailored to the project’s unique conditions. This proactive approach effectively minimized potential risks, ensuring the project’s safe and seamless progression.
